Treatment of Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine (will not be able to control urination). The person affected by this problem has a sudden urgent need to urinate without being able to hold urine in the bladder. You can produce small losses of urine during or because of sneezing, effort, laughter, exercise, etc. Affected individuals experience shame which will produce a deterioration in their quality of life to prevent social activities. While incontinence is not a disease or pathology in itself, is the result of a series of anatomical and / or function that can affect both men and women.

Urinary incontinence is the result of increased pressure within the bladder exceeds the pressure on the urethra. May be due to overactivity of the bladder detrusor muscle, in some cases, is caused by some kind of neurological disorder, a problem in the external sphincter and pelvic muscles (pelvic floor), for the failure of the sphincter internal due to inappropriate relaxation or organ damage, or neuronal damage.
