Program Interventions

DCT & DMF, although, separate entities with different programs, share a common goal of capacity building and development of the community. There exists a synergistic association between the programs run by the two. The field programs of DCT get a fillip from the technical expertise of the medical team manning the DMF hospital. Likewise, the close rapport shared by the DCT staff with the community adds depth to the programs run by the hospital.

Just as there exists a close association between DCT and DMF programs, there also exist close linkages between various DCT interventions. Interventions in Sexual Health are linked closely to interventions with adolescents and women's socio-economic development. Similarly interventions in Reproductive Health are linked to capacity building. Thus there exist linkages, which strengthen the interventions and make them more applicable. Nevertheless, broadly the interventions of DCT and DMF can be categorized under the following broad categories:
