Safety Parameters: Loading and Transportation of Chemicals

Details of Safety / Statutory Parameters related to Loading and Transportation of various DFPCL Products are as follows:

General Parameters

Driver of the Goods Carriage must possess a driving licence to drive a transport vehicle.

Driver should be well informed about the hazards of Chemicals and Steps to be taken in case of an accident. He should possess a certificate of having successfully passed course on Transportation of Chemicals approved by the State Government.

Goods Carriage should have a valid registration to carry the said goods.

Emergency information panel. It is a statutory requirement to display emergency information panel on tankers. This panel should give information about UN. No. HAZ CHEM CODE, CLASS LABEL, EMERGENCY CONTACT NOS. & SPECIALIST ADVICE (Emergency Information panels).

In addition to Emergency Information panel, the class labels should also be displayed at front portion of the Goods Carriage.
